Wednesday, February 1st, 2012

Here is a little collection of some of the business cards recently printed at Flying Rabbit Press. It’s such a delight to work with so many local designers!

Gilding the Edges

Monday, January 2nd, 2012

Applying gold leaf to the edges of paper is not something that I ever imagined I’d be doing. It’s a slow and finicky process, which suggests that I should have counted on doing it at some point, since I tend to gravitate toward that sort of thing. It’s worth the time it takes once you have the finished product in hand, though.

Edge gilding on thick cardstock.

These cards are a thick 220 lb cotton cardstock that were letterpress printed prior to having the edges gilded.
